When making this Cuban Sandwich its essential to use wood coals for a smoky flavor. Allow the coals to burn down to embers before you start to toast your Cubans. Once the coals are ready assemble the sandwich by spreading some Dijon mustard on both sides of the bread. Layer the pork loin slices, ham slices, pickles and cheese.
